As a pet communicator, I am blessed to witness the incredible bonds between humans and their animals. But last week, I had a session that truly touched my heart. I want to share the story of a gorgeous spaniel named Alfie, his devoted human mum Shona, and a very special visitor from the other side
Gentle Alfie and His On-and-Off Days
Alfie is a kind, gentle soul. He hasn’t had the easiest time lately because he has been a bit unwell. He has his “on-and-off days” where he isn’t feeling his best—and in true dog fashion, he would often much prefer to eat a piece of tasty cheese instead of taking his medication!
Even though he is a bit reserved, Alfie is confident in his own quiet way. His energetic connection to his mum, Shona, is deeply profound. They share a beautiful, protective bond.
During our reading, we found out that Alfie has some extra energetic support to help him through his recovery.
Enter Basil: The Comedian from the Other Side
During Alfie’s session, a vibrant energy burst through from the spirit world. It was Basil!
When they were both on Earth, Alfie and Basil were completely devoted to each other. Personality-wise, they were total opposites:
- Alfie: Quietly confident, reserved, and sensitive.
- Basil: A total comedian, cheeky, outgoing, and hilariously funny.
Because Basil was so full of joy and love, Alfie trusted him implicitly. Basil was the one who always made Alfie feel safe and comfortable.
A Guardian Angel with a Tail
Basil made it very clear during our session that he has never truly left. He has been actively stepping through from the other side to support his brother. When Alfie is having his quiet, unwell days, Basil brings his cheeky, joyful energy to lift Alfie’s spirits and help him heal.
I firmly believe that our loved ones never really leave us. Love is eternal, and our connections remain always—across space, time, and even the bridge between this world and the next.
